Time Schedule for Services

Globally most workers are not W2 workers. There are over 80 countries where the primary economy is communism, similar to welfare, or monarchy, where most of the economics are humanely planned.

The availability section would look like an appointment book.

Here in the U.S. about 54% of 200 million workers have a W2 job or work for an organization. There are various classifications of payment that don't use payroll. They still pay taxes, and participate in the economy. Organizations are often familiar with 1099. They often set their own schedule and have billable, and unbillable hours to track for their profession.

The US is projected to increase the amount of these type of workers and increase the amount of automation over the next 20 years. This leaves most W2 workers to be on rotation in the workplace during certain periods of time.

The current suggested work schedule for full time professional workers is 25 to 32 hours per week full time and to strive for approximately 60-90 hours per month.

Realistically, 90 hours is currently more feasible over a 4 or 5 week period.

Independent workers function a lot like businesses. They have a time the worker is open to accepting or reviewing work orders. This is normally a schedule. They also have availability. Just because they are open during a certain time does not mean they are avaialable. They may be working on another project or be on vacation.

The reasons organizations hire independent workers, self employed, and free lancers is because they are often efficient with the work they do. They employer may only need them for certain tasks. That required work has a value, and the worker can often complete the work within the amount of the value.

This means they don't need to be scheduled every week for the entire year. They can be available at certain times through appointments. They often work at other locations. They also likely follow ethics and non-compete rules. This means their other workplaces most likely don't compete with yours. There are some exceptions to these rules, generally all workplaces receive the same pricing and same quality of service.

Scheduling and independent worker can be easy and pain free. It requires a list of work that needs to get done, a budget for payment, and a schedule. When does the work need to get done by? Do you want weekly or monthly reports on status or any updates to their requirements that affect the work you requested?

Updates to their requirements is often for legal purposes and can help reduce liability or risk. It most often does not require a change order, but it can result in recommended planning for future work orders if any.

The Commitment

What does your schedule look like? What does their schedule look like? What do you need done? When do you need to have it completed?

If the answers to these questions are amicable, they can normally start within 2 weeks. You will most likely not have to pay any training or equipment costs. This includes computer hardware or software licensing that they use to complete your project.

There is a level of personalization that goes into a professional letter or sales call. However, modern trends in communication dictate brevity and time efficiency. This means the letters will be somewhat impersonal. The emails will have a similar level of standardized communications.

These services can help your business get ahead of task requirements. They can also help with better planning and control of your business. It may also be helpful to have an additional person to talk to about business data and how it can be improved.

Scheduling a call to get an assessment of work, and ongoing requirements is the first step in having an independent worker at your workplace.
